About the International Literature Festival

Throughout its existence, the International Literature Festival - ILF has been institutionalized as a platform to show the cultural richness of the Americas, with a main focus on the presentation of contemporary literature written in Spanish. The Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa, one of the most famous writers of Latin America, participated as a special guest at the ILF 2015.

The letters of the Americas each year are prepared to show some of their best talents at the International Literature Festival, ILF. Organized by the Casa Cultural de las  Americas (CCA).

"We are extremely pleased that our festival has been growing year after year, gaining audience and expanding the participation of talented writers and poets from the Americas," emphasizes Dr. Elizabeth Quila, founder of the Casa Cultural de las Américas, a non-profit organization that was born in 2012 with the objective of preserving and promoting the cultural diversity of the Americas in the United States and Europe.
