Tereluz
Versatile, multi-tasked, daring, with an enchanting voice that she manipulates as if she wants to simulate the “Cante jondo Flamenco”, indisputable heritage in the Music of the LATAM countries. Tereluz sings in several genres and several languages, simply delightful.Tereluz discovered her artistic inclination when she was 8 years old, taking music classes during her childhood-youth, and participating in choirs and solo performances with important orchestras and first class musicians in the city, since there, she combined her oil corporative experience with her artistic development. Tereluz has participated in well renown musicals, Choirs and solos, in Caracas/ Poliedro de Caracas and theater Teresa Carreno, New York Carnegie Hall, Pittsburgh University Carnegie Mellon, Miami- Florida University, Cozumel /Mexico in the colorful concert in the Town “El Cedral”, and Houston in scenarios as per UH theater, Miller Theater, Wortham Theater and Saint Thomas University theater.
José Layo Puentes
Born in Los Teques, Venezuela, José Layo Puentes is an accomplished musician in a wide array of musical styles. These include Classical, Big Band, Folk, Jazz, Latin and Italian Popular Music. His intimate knowledge of instruments includes the Acoustic Bass, Electric Bass and Cuatro (Venezuelan Folk instrument). His orchestral experience includes, the Symphony orchestras of: “Sinfónica Venezuela”, “Filarmónica de Caracas” and the “Simón Bolivar Orchestra”(El Sistema). With the “Simón Bolivar Orchestra”, he participated in the recording of five CDs with the label “Dorian”, and toured in Holland, England, Paris, Spain and Japan. Rubén Regel
Venezuelan violinist Rubén Rengel, 22, is quickly gaining recognition as one of the most gifted emerging concert violinists, continuously captivating audiences with a rich, singing tone, and charismatic virtuosity. Rubén was the Winner of the 2018 Sphinx Competition. Concerto engagements this season include the Houston Symphony, the Vermont Symphony, and the Signature Symphony. Rubén is a versatile performer, passionate about Venezuelan, Latin American Music, and Jazz. His background has allowed him to be immersed in these varied styles and genres. Rubén is completing a Master’s of Music degree in Violin Performance at Rice University as a student of Paul Kantor in Houston, TX. Héctor Molina
An excepcional venezuelan composer and cuatro player who earned the Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition from UNEARTE (Experimental University of the Arts) Venezuela. He has shared the stage with very acclaimed musicians. He is a founder member of the venezuelan music ensemble “Los Sinvergüenzas”. His work with “Los Sinvergüenzas” has already been included in four recording productions: “Bichoneando” (2001), “Desde Otro Lugar” (2007) , “Sinvergüenzuransas” (2012) and “Raíces” (2013). In 2010 he won the 2nd Prize at the Composition Competition “José Fernandez Rojas” in Spain, with his work “Suite Latinoamericana” for Plectrum Orchestra. Brenda Rengel
Venezuela violinist, is an artist characterized for being a musician of mixed influences: academic and popular styles. She developed her talents growing up in a rich enviroment with plurality of styles amd genres. Member of the Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela since 2012. She has been invited to perform with nationally and internationally recognized artists such as Serenata Guayanesa, Cecilia Todd, Gualberto Ibarreto, Aquiles Baez, Cayito Aponte, Francisco Pacheco, Ensamble Gurrufio, among others.
